On August 30, the Mato Grosso do Sul Comitê de Cultura held a meeting to coordinate strategic initiatives in the city of Ponta Porã and the surrounding region. The purpose of the meeting was to identify local needs and set goals to strengthen the training of cultural agents and expand access to public cultural policies.
According to the organizers, listening to the community is essential to ensure that the implementation plan meets the region’s needs. “We want to ensure that cultural practitioners are able to participate in calls for proposals and develop impactful projects,” emphasized the Committee’s coordination team.
As part of these initiatives, a Project Development workshop will be held on September 22 and 23, aimed at cultural agents, associations, organizations, and collectives in Ponta Porã. In the Itamarati district, training activities will continue on September 23 and 24 at the Subprefecture headquarters, with a focus on practical training for participation in municipal, state, and national calls for proposals.
