About Us
Flor e Espinho Association is a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (OSCIP) based in Mato Grosso do Sul, dedicated to promoting art, culture, and social transformation.
Our mission is to use theater and performing arts as tools for social inclusion, education, and human development, bringing quality culture to communities and promoting democratic access to artistic expressions.
Through our projects and performances, we seek to build bridges between different social realities, fostering dialogue, reflection, and transformation through art. We believe in the power of culture as an agent of change and social development.
Our work ranges from artistic training to the production of original performances, always focusing on artistic quality and positive social impact in our communities.

We are the OSCIP responsible for the Culture Committee, together with the Ministry of Culture (MINC), in Mato Grosso do Sul.
We act as representatives of civil society, contributing to the development and strengthening of the state's cultural policies.

Cine Flor
Itinerant cinema that brings films and debates to communities with little access to culture. The project promotes social reflections through the seventh art, democratizing access to cinema and fostering relevant discussions.

Campo do Riso
Project supported by the Aldir Blanc Law in 2020, during the COVID-19 health crisis. It held a series of 5 interviews with renowned professionals, discussing technical and aesthetic aspects of Clowning and investigating the pedagogy of laughter.

Pantalhaços
Clown festival held in Campo Grande (MS) that values the image of clowns through performances, debates, workshops, and parties. Organized by Associação Flor e Espinho and Grupo Circo do Mato, the event promotes the meeting between artists and the public, strengthening the local circus scene.

In 2024, in partnership with the state theater and circus councils, we held the 15th Edition of the Boca de Cena Festival. Bebê a Bordo
A play that tells the story of a wandering clown who finds an abandoned baby. Directed by João Lima, the production turns a story of care and affection into a sensitive and fun adventure, exploring universal themes through the language of clowning.

Street performance that discusses topics such as sensationalist press, reason, and madness. Directed by Anderson Lima, one of the group's founders, the production uses various urban spaces to create a unique and provocative theatrical experience.
