The publication details how to ensure full access for people with disabilities to cultural activities—both as audience members and as cultural creators—and provides practical guidelines to ensure that calls for proposals and projects comply with the Brazilian Inclusion Law (Law No. 13,146/2015) and MinC Normative Instruction No. 10/2023, which regulates the affirmative action and accessibility measures provided for in the Aldir Blanc Law.

👩🏽‍🦯 🏛️ 🤳🏼 💬 The guide explains concepts such as architectural, communicational, digital, and attitudinal accessibility, in addition to providing examples of adaptations for events, calls for proposals, audiovisual productions, museums, and books. It also reinforces the importance of representation and the active participation of people with disabilities at every stage of the production chain, in the development, implementation, and evaluation of public policies, and in cultural projects.
